I've tested the game (all levels) under Windows Vista and have yet to encounter any problems or crashes. Seems to work perfectly.
A patch was released via Xbox Live that allowed the Xbox version to run on the Xbox360. There is however a reported error with the games intro cutscenes not displaying correctly. The rest of the game is reported to be ok.
Supported Video Cards at time of release:
ATI Radeon 7500/8500/9000/ X series
Nvidia Geforce 3/4/5/FX/6/7 series (Geforce 4 MX not supported)
When development on the game began, it was using the NetImmerse engine, a 3rd party engine created by Numerical Design Limited (NDL). The engine evolved and later became Gamebryo, and NDL merged with, and became, Emergent Game Technologies (EGT).
NetImmerse was used to create games such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Dark Age of Camelot, and Simon The Sorcerer 3D (also made by Headfirst Productions).
Before the time of Dark Corners of the Earth's release in 2005, NetImmerse had evolved to become the newer engine, Gamebryo Element. Gamebryo Element is the engine used in the final game. This updated 3rd party engine was also used on games such as the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, and Fallout 3.
